January/February/March Newsletter
Dear Friends
We greet you in Jesus Name.
We are overjoyed to be back with you and to tell each of our readers that we truly appreciate your kind gesture to find time to read the happenings at the Sangita Home.
The orphanage is progressing well, with the children growing up physically, emotionally and spiritually.
We will take you through a few important highlights of the Sangita Home during the last quarter.
Visit of Dorothy and Lisa from France
Dorothy and Lisa from France were with the children of the Sangita home for 10 days serving the children to learn songs, stories and crafts as part of Lisa’s project for school. Their presence made a huge impact in the lives of the children and us, and we have no words to thank them for choosing Sangita Home to come and serve. Our sincere thanks and appreciation to them and look forward to their coming back again.
SVCC Medical Team
The SVCC Missions Medical team was with us from the 24th Feb until the 27th Feb 2006. During their short visit a team of 13 medical doctors, theraphists and nurses all renowned people in their own cities and profession served the children at the orphanage with much humility and love. They medically examined each child and provided treatment to the needed kids.
The team was able to conduct a free medical camp treating over 200 poor village people from about 10 villages. They supplied the poor people with lot of vitamins, medications, sun glasses and expert medical advice.
We look forward to such dedicated medical teams visiting and serving the poor. The need is GREAT.
Visit of Kyle and Marybeth Jackson
Kyle and Marybeth Jackson along with Brian O’Connel visited Chennai enroute from Egypt and we had the privilege of them visiting the Sangita Home and the land that God has provided for us to build the orphanage.
We were privileged to have them dedicate the land for God’s glory to be used for the children at the orphanage and many more underprivileged people around this property.
Visit of Daryl, Cathy, Philip and Lacy
The Sangita children were again honoured by the visit of these dear friends who look time from their busy schedule to visit them and spend time playing and telling them stories.
We are truly humbled by people taking time to visit the children at the orphanage and it has been a great honour for us and the kids. Visitors are a real treat for the kids.
Our Immediate Need
- We look forward to sponsors who will sponsor children @ US $ 20 per child per month
- We are in need of 2 washing machines as the one in the orphanage is under major repair. The cost for 2 machines is US $ 600
- The summer days are fast approaching and we need your prayers and God’s mercy on the children as in the past years that they may not be affected by the heat
Stay with us as we move forward
Grace and Paul Moses
