The New Year 2005 dawned upon the Sangita Home with God’s promise that “He will never leave us nor forsake us”.
At the outset we wish to acknowledge all those who supported us specially through donations for Christmas. We thank every one individually for providing the children with a wonderful Christmas.
We along with the children spent the New Year day at the Sangita home . The children who had come for the Christmas vacation left on the 2nd of January. The kids were in tears and went with the assurance that they will be back with us for summer holidays.
The absence of Tammy was felt badly after the hectic period of Christmas and New Year.
The kids, the staff and we miss her a lot.
The Sangita home was privileged to have visitors from South Africa, England, Brunei, Srilanka and from our own neighboring states visiting the kids. They had come to India on a different mission. It is always indeed a joy for Godly people to visit the children and make a commitment to pray for them.
Another highlight of the month was that the children received their routine Polio drops. They also received the booster doses for DPT.
On the 30th of January 4 members of the SVCC in the USA, who were in Chennai in connection with the Tsunami Relief work, visited the children. The kids were happy to have visitors. They sang for them many songs and we had Pastor Kyle pray for them before they left. We look forward to a long and fruitful partnership with the SVCC
We praise God that He protected the children and staff of the Sangita home through the month of January from all illness. He was our provider and we thank and praise God for His marvelous providence.
We thank you readers for patiently reading the newsletter.
