The New Year at the Sangita home dawned to a great day of thanksgiving to the Lord for his love, protection and providence for the children and staff at the orphanage during the past year

The Christmas season of the year 2005 went past with so much of joy and fulfillment in the lives of the children. For many a child Christmas celebrations and everything that comes along with it was a first time experience.

It was a great joy serving for the little children who are here at the home for no fault of theirs. Yet we believe that they are not here by chance but with a great purpose. We long to fulfill the dreams and aspirations of these young children.

For the Christmas season new clothes, sandals and gifts were very carefully bought for them to suit each child’s needs. We had a special Christmas programme with Santa Claus distributing gifts for them. They enjoyed the special food made for them on Christmas and New Years day. The children were overjoyed all through the season with Christmas decorations and the lights.

We are happy and grateful to God for choosing us to carry out His mission on earth through us. We do not know what the New Year holds for us, but we know that God is in control. We thank God for all his goodness and look forward to serving him in the best of our capacities.
