This Issue : April 2005

All praise and glory be to God. The month of April had been a wonderful month with a lot of excitement as well as anxieties. The Sangita Home was excited because our older children who were in other 2 hostels were coming to spend summer holidays with us.

The anxious part was the summer heat that would be harsh on the children. The breakdown of several epidemics caused a lot of anxiety for us. For the past years God had been so good to the kids that they were all protected well. To our great surprise and relief there was heavy unexpected rains in the village where the home is located for about a week and this cooled off the place to a great extent. God is good.

The 60 kids who are in school arrived in 2 batches during the last week of April. Few kids have gone to be with their kith and kin for a few days. The rest of the children are having fun. The smaller ones are excited to be with older kids and for the older kids its only eating and sleeping and playing with no studies. The older kids will be leaving on June 1st to their respective schools.
Important Prayer Concern
We are compelled not to be sending the children who are to start schooling this academic year in June to the hostel where we normally send our kids due to various reasons. Under these circumstances we will have to provide schooling for about 25 children under our responsibility. We are not prepared for this responsibility right now, but it looks that we do not have any other option. We have placed this concern with the lord and will have to go ahead as the lord leads. Please pray for us as we take crucial decisions for the children of the Sangita home.

On 27th of April the Sangita Home had the privilege of distributing some relief items to one of the Tsunami affected villages where there are 35 widows. Along with the staff of Sangita we were able to talk to them and spend time with them and finally share the love of Christ with them which has compelled us to serve them in their need. We thank SVCC USA, for providing the funds to help these widows. The need is great. We hope that God will open doors so that we will be able to serve them more
.

Stay with us and pray for us
With grateful hearts

Grace and Paul Moses
